Ealing Studios

As a lifelong film geek I was thrilled when recently asked for some EPC consultancy work at the iconic Ealing Studios for a fit out company which saw me tread the hallowed soil of the oldest continuously used film studio in the world. A site that saw the birth of such films as Whisky Galore, Passport to Pimlico and The Man In The White Suit.

Given our more than a decade of commercial fit out experience it comes as no surprise that we've seen an explosion of similar enquiries coming from our friends in the industry. We have recently collaborated with numerous companies to provide their clients with indicative EPC scores for planned works as well as dialling in key elements to proactively improve the ratings whilst they're underway. In this instance we were asked to inspect the works underway at several floors of offices and ensure that they were on track for EPC 'B' ratings - we went even further and discovered that two of the floors are actually going to be 'A' grades.
